Agriculture is considered the backbone of any nation. In India, around 50-60% workforce involved only in Agriculture. - You can apply for state and central government jobs Ex. AAO, AHO, AFO, ACS, ACF, RAEO, RHEO, ADA, etc.
- You can apply for state PSC and UPSC examinations.
- You can switch your career to the management sector and opt MBA from reputed universities and chose MNCs.
- You can be an entrepreneur and build your own high-tech modern farm and earn much more than any government employee.
- You can go for Masters and Doctoral programs to be an Assistant Professor or Scientist in any State and Central Agricultural University or at any ICAR research institution.
How you can get Admission to an Agricultural University?
There are more than sixty agricultural universities available in India affiliated under the umbrella of ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research). In every state there are one or more than one state agricultural university. To get admission to any agricultural university you have to have a Science education during your intermediate level i.e. 10+2. You have to appear the All India Entrance Examination for Under Graduation by ICAR every year or Common Entrance Examination for Under Graduation by different individual state and central Agricultural Universities every year.
